Sensory Cloud Dough with Two Simple Ingredients You Have in your Kitchen

Baseball.jpg

Today we’re having fun with easy indoor sensory play. We’re getting a little messy with our easy sensory cloud dough recipe that has just two simple ingredients you have in your kitchen!

Cloud dough resembles sand, but the cooking oil makes it possible to mold it into shapes. The little ones love it and can play with it for a long time! We love to use ramekins and cups for the shapes, but if you look around your place you might have even more fun things to add to the mix. Add some cars and trucks for some pretend off-roading or get creative and make a pretend baseball bin like ours!

Recipe.

  • 6 cups of flour & 1 cup of cooking oil

  • Knead the flour and cooking oil together in a plastic bowl.

  • Knead until your mixture allows you to make a ball that doesn’t fall apart.
toss in some spoons and cups or ramekins.

  • If you want, you can jazz it up with some hot cocoa mix, cocoa powder or Nesquik. It will look more like dirt, but smell more like heaven.

  • We love a good theme so grab some favorite toys, a bowl, scoop or spoon and maybe even a baby fork to make tracks.

Important Tip: We recommend setting out a flat bed sheet
where you’re planning to play to make the clean up easy.
